KFC in collaboration with the SOS CHILDREN'S VILLAGES PAKISTAN held a press conference on the 18th of June at the SOS Children's Village Karachi . 

This year during Ramadan, KFC will carry a bucket campaign in collaboration with SOS. They will be selling their bucket meal with the SOS logo and a picture on it. On the sale of each bucket, Rs.50 will be donated to SOS.

This Ramadan help us by buying these KFC Buckets and contributing RS.50 to SOS.

SOS Youth Home committee members Madam Ava Cowasjee, Dr. Fazila Zamindar and the SOS Children`s Village director were invited to the Youth Home on a lunch, they appreciate the position holders children of the youth home and distribute the prizes to the children.
     










Objectives
In an SOS Children`s Village the children find security, love and every opportunity to develop to their full potential. Our main Objectives are.
  • To provide children who are deserved of their parents, with an environment which is as close as possible to a normal home.
  • To give them chance in life by ensuring a good education and also providing them opportunities for acquiring higher education, according to their ability and aptitude.

                         Fareed Khan


He joined SOS care in 1993
Farid joined Toyota after matric.
He continued his studies and graduated from Karachi University.
He worked in PIA scouts as a facilitator for two years
He joined PIA as a regular employee in PIA Cargo.
He has the honor of performing Hajj as a member of Pakistan Scouting team who provide services to Hujj









                                                 

                         Zeeshan Yousuf

He was brought to the SOS Children’s Village at the age of six
Very smart in mechanical and technical work
After matriculation he joined Toyota Indus Motors as an apprentice
Working as an employee at Toyota Indus Motors after four years of training
Completed his graduation from Karachi University
Selected to represent Toyota Pakistan in “skill contest” held in Bangkok, Thailand, where he secured  a position and bought honor to his country
                                        

 
       


                     Muzammil Ali


He was brought to the SOS Children’s Village at the age of ten
After matriculation he joined Siemens Pakistan as a trainee technician
Employed in Siemens Pakistan after completing his 4 years training as a transformer expert
Participated in under-19  PIA  cricket team as a spin bowler

Very brilliant scout and is an active part of PIA disaster management team

She was brought to the SOS Children’s Village at the age of  five
She was very good at painting and art work
Participated in many competitions held in Alliance Francaise, Japan Cultural Center and      local schools
Joined Creative Art Unit (a commercial designing workshop) as a trainee designer
Worked as an employee at Creative Art Unit

Happily married  to an ex SOS boy

She was brought to the SOS Children’s Village at the age of fourteen
She completed her HSC from Jinnah Post Graduate Medical Centre in Medical Technologies
She completed her BS in Medical Technologies from SUIT (Sarhad University of Science & Information Technology)
Employee in SIUT as a senior technician

Completed his 4-years apprenticeship in Toyota Indus Motors
Graduated as a private student from Karachi University
Working as a team leader in Toyota Indus Motors Pakistan
Won the best employee award in 2009

Happily married to the SOS girl and  is the father of a baby girl
